Design an Action Plan

Without a plan, I get sidetracked very easily.   I won't realize I'm resistant and avoiding a task that I seriously want to get completed until it's too late and I'm under the gun to get it done, and that's STRESSFUL!

It takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan.
— Eleanor Roosevelt

Do you need a daily action plan?

Planning doesn’t answer the question “When am I going to do this?” But questions like, “Will I have the time and resources to do this?” and “How am I going to do it?” A daily or weekly action plan is a guide intended to reduce stress and motivate you.  It's essential to be clear that your action items are reasonable. The truth is you will be more optimistic when you start your days knowing what you’re going to find.  Check your calendar for prior commitments. Choose an action on your list based on, the time you have available, and your enthusiasm at that time.
